1. Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected members of IES College of Technology Bhopal Student Council was held for Session 22-23 in January . This solemn ceremony which was witnessed by Principal, educators, students portfolio We were overwhelmed with pride and happiness to see the capability, smartness, confidence and leadership skills of the young members of the college Council as they were formally vested with positions; awarded sashes, badges, handed over respective flags and administered the Oath of Office.
2. IES college of technology signed MoU with TIDES Incubation Centre IIT Roorkee. Fostering Incubation and entrepreneurship at IES MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Mumtaj shah, Vice president and Mr. Tanuj Dani, Program Manager, IIT Roorkee. Under this Memorandum of Understanding training and workshop will also be offered to student and faculty member to learn about business, incubation and entrepreneurship.They also offered two incubation centre of IIT Roorkee funded by DST and DBT for the students who can take benefit of this both centre & Internship program for 3 to 6 months will also be offered to the students under IIT Roorkee.
3. IES College of Technology in association with CSIR - Advanced Materials and Process Research Institutes, Bhopal under CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative Program organized workshop and expert lecture on Renewable Energy solutions their needs, sources & systems. Eminent team of Scientists interacted with students and appreciated the determination and eagerness of during Workshop and visit to CSIR AMPRI. More than 150 students got certificate for participating in Workshop.
4. IES Family celebrated and welcomed new year with full of games, good food, dance, music, resolutions and great Heralding into a beautiful New Year with 365 New Chances to create magic. The dedicated congregation of IES Deans HODs faculties and staff came together, sharing their joy, light hearted banter and laughter through the celebration and lunch. Such events are part of the campus life IES fostering a positivity which helps us all IESians achieve their goals.
5. Research and innovation is an integral aspect of the educational pedagogy at IES group. The 5th Research Felicitation Ceremony of IES faculty members honoured their contribution to patent and paper publication. Faculties has published a total of 17 SCI/ Scopus/ WOS research papers. They received appreciation certificates alongwith a total sum of Rs 1,00,000/- in cash rewards for their contributions and for motivating them to continue working for the benefit of society.
6. IESians received an exclusive opportunity for interaction with Ms Quynh Giao Duong South Asia Manager, University Catholique de LOuest; Mr. Srinivas Sambandam India Representative, Ecole Centrale de Nantes and were apprised regarding opportunities for study in France. They held interactive sessions at IES college of technology , Bhopal regarding students and faculty exchange, cultural exchange, summer programmes, joint research, etc.
7. The annual 3 day fest, Inforia 2k23 organized by IES College of Technology in association with @iesuniversity began today with intense competitiveness and high spirits. Students with their flawless performances and captivating expressions embraced the world as their #stage and made sure to keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Our dancers fascinated the audience with their spins and sways at INFORIA 2K23
8. Batch of 2023 of IES College of technology graduated. There is no Goodbye for them. Every ending is a new beginning. 4 amazing years of academic learning and getting placed in top MNCs with highest package of 21 LPA at IES was a journey that will always be remembered.
9.IES college of technology joined hands with District Red Cross Society, NCC and NSS under the guidelines of Ayush Mantralay for the celebration of yoga day. IES organized yoga session under the guidance of Shri Rajiv Jain Trilok, Yogaguru and in the esteemed presence of Shri Gagna kohel, Chairman State Red Cross Society,Shri Pradeep Tripathi, Secretary Red Cross Society, Mrs Surabhi Tiwari, Secretery District Red Cross Society to create awareness of the benefits of yoga among studentsand faculty.
10. IES college of technology Organized 8th Felicitation Program to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our remarkable students.We honored more than 170 students with total cash prize of Rs 1 Lakh 25 Thousands including and 5% course toppers in country in NPTEL certification organised by 7 leading IITs including IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur in which most of them secured Elite + Silver rank.
11. IES college of technology hosted ‘KAVACH-2023’ .Students of #HEIs and Startups in India received the unique opportunity for presenting innovative solutions to problem statements provided to them. The Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) from MHA, and MoE InnovationCell, along with AICTE have launched ‘KAVACH-2023’ a unique national Hackathon to identify innovative concepts and technology solutions for addressing the security challenges of the 21st century. The event was inaugurated at the Central level, followed at the IES Nodal Centre by Chief Guest Prof. Dr Ashuthosh Kumar Singh, Director IIIT Bhopal. Sh. Ravi Pratap, software developer, BPR&D, MHA, Sh. Arindam Mandal, Regional consultant, Innovation cell MoE, Nodal center head and Shri Girish.
12. IES conducted a 3 days workshop on Robotics from 17th to 19th Oct for the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IES college of technology with renowned Centre Head and Certified Trainer, Robonauts India, Mr. Arpit Soni. This interactive and hands-on workshop helped students gain knowledge and skills in building projects on robotics.
13. The rhythms of Garba echoed through the halls of IES today as the Garba Utsav - Manasvini 2023, with highlights of the events being the Sindoor kela by students, the beats of Garba, as students alike swirled and twirled to the tunes. The dance floor was a blast of colors and laughter, bridging them together even in diversity that defines our campus. The day ended with open Garba; while pumped up the rhythmic pulse of live music elevating the Garba experience, creating an atmosphere of joy and merriment. The aroma of authentic snacks and refreshments filled the air, with food stalls providing a much need energetic push for the eve.
14. IES College of Technology, Bhopal in association with Rajya Anand Sansthan presented "ALPVIRAM: An Inner Engineering Initiative for Young Technocrats."The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri. Akhilesh Argil, CEO of Rajya Anand Sansthan, who emphasized on a holistic approach to happiness and work life balance. Esteemed guests, including Dr. Veena Singh, Shri Nitin Babele, Shri. Pradeep Mehto, and Shri Mano Dikshit, shared sessions on mental, physical, and emotional progress and delved into self development techniques !
